an eye problem

today, panzer complained that mohs was looking at him in the car.  we have a lot to look forward to.

of course, when it's dark outside, he complains loudly because he can't see mohs.  so... pick your poison.

talk to the hand

today, panzer was talking on the phone to granny todd.  since he gets distorted in the sound waves (and i am the most impressive panzer-translator in existence), i try to help my mom out by prompting.  for example:

p:  jibber jabber jibber jabber bike jibber jabber
mommy:  oh, are you telling granny todd that you wrote your bike today?

today, when i tried to throw my mom a bone, panzer put his hand out and told me to "stop. stop talking to me."

sorry mom, you're on your own from here on out.

he's a proud papa (but mommy's not taking any chances ... breakfast!)

kids don't play with too many knives

today, panzer grabbed a knife off the counter.  when i told him it was sharp and he needed to give it to me, he started flailing his little arms around to prevent me from grabbing it.  don't tell him that worked ...

but then he knicked himself in the eye, prompting me to remind him that "you're going to poke your eye out." at least "knives are sharp" now has some meaning instead of just being some more useless dribble mommy keeps repeating...

no. it's a wagon.

today, panzer insisted that the hippos were riding in a wagon.
mommy:  um, i think that's a wheelbarrow.
p:  no.  (very authoritativelyl...)  it's a wagon.
