egg hunt

today, panzer had an easter egg hunt.  he was considerably better than last year, especially once he remembered the eggs were filled with goodies.

he even found this one ... silly easter bunny.

i've got a sunset in my veins

today, panzer said:  mommy, that the sun?
mommy:  no baby, that's the sun SET.  the sun is going down.

quiet.

panzer: mommy, i want hold that sunset in my hands.  i not reach it!  i want it.

hair part dos

today, panzer got his second haircut.  he was patient, proving that he will do anything for a quarter's worth of jelly beans from the candy dispenser.

she took a lot more off this go-round than the first, but he looks so cute and grown up!  and the curls remain ... and i am confident we'll be back to einstein before you know it.

cupcake monster

today, panzer got almost as excited about a cupcake as mommy does!

wagon

today, panzer told me he wanted a wagon for mohs' birthday.  here's how it went:

p:  mommy, i have wagon?
mommy:  maybe you can have a wagon for your birthday, if you're a good boy.
p:  it's my birthday, mommy?
mommy:  no baby, your birthday is not until october and it's only march.
p:  it's mohs birthday?
mommy:  ummm, not until may, but it is a lot closer than your birthday.
p:  i have wagon for mohs' birthday.

(i guess it's settled....)

hairy dude

today, panzer grew a beard and mustache.  i'm resigned to the factthat i will never get a picture that does his bubble facial hair justice.  but he proudly and loudly proclaims that he has a beard and a mustache every time :)

today, panzer fell asleep on his couch with all his favorite things.

ticket to ride

today, panzer horrified mommy.

not sure how i'm going to make it past age 16....

pump-pump-pump-it-up!

today, panzer pumped up my tires.

i'm not even kidding, he can actually use that thing.

big bro part dos

today, panzer insisted on snuggling with Mohs.  it doesn't happen often, but when it does, Mohs is happily tolerant of the vice grip.

help part 100000

today, panzer helped mommy mix up some formula for mohs.

it cannot be mentioned enough how much money we spend on toys, and how little interest P shows in anything other than tools of daily living.

hiding

today, panzer thought he found a good hiding place.

until mommy needed an ice cream.  brrrrr.

don't squish my brother

today, panzer just had a regular old day in the tub, singing songs and being silly.

alligators

today, panzer dubbed everything that opens and closes an "alligator."  clothespins, tongs, hairbows, the chip clip -- whatever you can find he says "you open those alligators, mommy?"

big brother fun

today, panzer helped me nic-name Mohs "slimer."

although they are equally deserving of the name after blue ring pops and weeks of allergy-inducing snot fits, p refuses to accept the name for himself, but happily asks me "is this slimer?" whenever he sees Mohs.

rollin' part tres

today, panzer rolled away.

mine

today, panzer got in the habit of asking me "what's this song" for every song that comes on in the car.  he likes the oldies station because he likes to hear that "the turtles" are singing.

p:  mommy, what's this song?
mommy:  this is michael jackson.
p:  this your cal-jackson?
mommy:  no, it's michael jackson.
p:  this yours?
mommy:  no, not mine, michael.

mine is obviously a very popular and meaningful word in our lives...

acrobatics

today, panzer tried his best to bust his ass in the bathtub.

better luck getting mommy to the ER next time!

the cure

today, panzer was watching the lorax for the 900th consecutive time.  when the once-ler cut down the first tree, p reported:  the lorax sad mommy?

mommy:  yes, baby, he's sad the once-ler cut down the tree.
p:  that teddy bear sad too.  he needs a popsicle.

i agree -- he does need a popsicle.

monkey-ing around.

today, panzer got some new monkey boots from granny todd.  2 of his favorite things -- p is in love.

c'mon ride the train

today, panzer took daddy for a ride on his choo-choo.

it was a short ride in distance -- the caboose was a little loaded down -- long ride in FUN!

pretty

today, panzer told mommy she was pretty.  i documented the moment whether i agreed or not:

dentist part tres

today, panzer went to the dentist.  he is so excited to have leti and dr. montes clean his teeth. :)
