treasure!

today, aaron found all of the various tools he thought he had misplaced in the bike shop.  panzer has apparently been collecting allen wrenches, small parts, and bits of trash over the last couple of days and shoving them into the 3" x 6" hole on the side of the unopened bike box -- for daddy to discover this morning!

bad

today, panzer climbed onto the desk and wrote on daddy's laptop screen with a sharpie.  no one died.  and we all learned a valuable lesson about supervision and the powers of motorcycle polish.  well, all of us but panzer...

new heights part dos

today, panzer climbed onto the chair, onto the desk, over the half-wall separating the kitchen and living room, and onto the kitchen counter.

boo-boo

today, panzer jammed his finger up my nose so hard it bled.  now he is obsessed with putting his finger in his nose.  i think he thinks the blood looked like his red bubble bath that he loooves to put in his hand and swirl around.

sike

today, panzer practiced evading me.  we went to the park, and i tried to stay close to him in case he came upon any imminent peril.  when he'd notice me following him, he'd quick turn around and run full speed at me, then change direction at the last minute to run by me. 

it was a little bit like watching killer whales hunt in packs on blue planet.

today, panzer wore another skull sweater from auntie kimmy!

new heights

today, panzer learned to climb up onto the chair ... better to reach the computer. 

we have been gradually migrating everything on the desk back as he gets taller and taller.  now, nothing on the desk is safe.

he also dragged his alphabet train from the other room right up to the entertainment stand -- so he could climb on and reach the tv better.  so, nothing anywhere is safe...

buddy bob

today, panzer is on a first-name basis with bob the builder.  he aks for "bob" anytime the TV is on.

on the farm

today, panzer joined in on his favorite song:  old macdonald had a farm (which is a good favorite, because it can last as long as you need it to...)

as soon as i start singing, he chimes in with I-E-I-E-I-E-I-E-ooooooooo.

snow day

today, panzer went sledding for the first time.

he hated it. 

 even perfectly horizontally.

jiggety jig

today, panzer danced a little jig in honor of st. patrick's day. 

(i thought i get a better video than this one, of him spinning and then tapping his feet, but will have to try to capture his signature moves again another day...)

today, panzer saw me coming with his shirt and immediately lay down, practically melting into the floor, thinking i wouldn't have room to smoosh it over his head. 

good theory, but mommy is persistent.

today, panzer whispered something unintelligible into my cheek.  possibly the cutest thing ever.  and gives me hope that we may unlock an "inside voice" someday.  <3

la la la la lollipop

today, panzer had his first dum-dum: bubble gum flavored.

followed closely by his second dum-dum.  (apparently lollipops are readily available at both mexican restaurants and liquor stores.) 

how many dum-dums does it take before p learns that you don't eat the stick?

da club

today, panzer dropped some beats at da club.

not really, but more importantly, he looked like he could, in his shiny batman tracksuit.  thanks GT!

more OCD

today, panzer took all his toys when he was done with his bath and dropped them back in the basket where they belong.  :)

gale force winds

aaron (examining disc):  uh, yes.  it's the soap out of the bathtub.

today, panzer climbed into the bathtub, poached the soap, climbed out, and deposited it a few rooms over.  a little tornado...

today, panzer had ketchup, ice and styrofoam for dinner.

the nice thing about kids is they'll eat again tomorrow.
